Project Overview

The Tourist Service Center is a landmark gateway building located in the world-famous Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. Covering approximately 30,000 square meters, the project serves as both a comprehensive visitor service center and an international exchange center, welcoming thousands of tourists and visitors every day.

As an important public facility within the scenic area, the lighting design needed to balance functionality, aesthetics, and environmental integration. The objective was to create a comfortable and visually attractive atmosphere while enhancing the architectural identity of the building and surrounding public spaces.

Lighting Challenges

The project required a versatile lighting solution capable of meeting different functional needs across indoor and outdoor areas:

• Providing safe and uniform illumination for large pedestrian plazas.
• Enhancing the architectural appearance of the visitor center during nighttime.
• Creating a welcoming environment for tourists and international guests.
• Integrating decorative lighting elements without affecting the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.
• Ensuring long-term reliability and low maintenance in a high-traffic public environment.

Lighting Solution

Lacelesty supplied a combination of architectural and decorative lighting fixtures to achieve both functional and aesthetic goals throughout the project.

Plaza Lighting

Approximately 300 Paver Lights and Brick Lights were installed across the public plaza areas. These fixtures provide subtle yet effective ground illumination, improving pedestrian safety while maintaining a clean architectural appearance. Their low-profile design integrates seamlessly into the paving structure and enhances nighttime navigation.

Indoor General Lighting

More than 100 Ceiling Lights were installed throughout the interior spaces of the visitor center. These luminaires deliver comfortable and uniform illumination for reception areas, waiting zones, corridors, and public service spaces, ensuring a pleasant experience for visitors.

Decorative Architectural Lighting

Around 200 meters of Neon Flex lighting were incorporated into selected decorative elements of the building. The flexible lighting design highlights architectural contours and creates an attractive visual identity after dark, helping the facility stand out as a landmark destination within the scenic area.

The completed lighting system successfully enhances both the functionality and visual appeal of the  Tourist Service Center.
